Two more central labor councils have passed resolutions endorsing HR 676, single payer healthcare legislation introduced by John Conyers (D-MI). One hundred and twenty-seven central labor councils have now endorsed HR 676.

In Salem, Oregon, the Marion, Polk & Yamhill Counties Central Labor Council endorsed HR 676, reports Joe Munger, a member of the Council and President of USW Local 8378.

In Orange, California, the Orange County AFL-CIO Central Labor Council has also endorsed HR 676, reports Marianne Monfils from the CSEA Orange Field office.
