Two more central labor councils in California have endorsed HR 676, single payer healthcare legislation introduced by Congressman John Conyers (D-MI).

One hundred and twenty-three labor councils and Area Labor Federations have now endorsed the single payer legislation.

Rose Roach, from the California School Employees Association (CSEA), was instrumental in getting the endorsement of HR 676 from the San Joaquin and Calaveras Counties Central Labor Council in Stockton and the Stanislaus and Tuolumne Counties Central Labor Council in Modesto.
